Hi, I’m Marilyn Wo and this is StarPlayer Academy episode 114.
You don’t just wish for a good game and it comes to you.
Haven’t you heard what Peter Drucker said: “The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
Can you predict the future? Can you control what’s going to happen?
It’s good that you can’t because why enter a competition knowing you are going to win.
You enter a competition to test your standard against the odds.
There’s massive pressure, expectations, fear, excitement, your opponents and many other factors to pit against.
That’s the challenge.
You don’t know the future, you don’t know what will be the outcome. Anything can happen, why bother?
But what you are going to do is to create the right condition and environment to your favour with a fair fight.
The first thing to overcome when it comes to creating the right condition is to win the war within yourself.
If you don’t win that struggle within yourself, someone else will.
Why leave the job to someone else?
Why enter a competition with your inner wars still going on?
It’s like the members of the same team having internal conflict and self-destruct even before the competition starts. Doesn’t this make it easier for the opponents to fight them?
Overcome yourself daily and end the wars by the time you compete against the rest.
