What difference does it make if you are in this game or not?
What difference do you bring to the world being in this team, this sport or being in this group or company?
How does your presence help the world?
Do You Matter?
What difference does it make if you are in this game or not?
What difference do you bring to the world being in this team, this sport or being in this group or company?
How does your presence help the world?
Have you ever stopped to think and ask yourself if your actions ever contribute effectively to the welfare of the people around you?
I’m not saying that you don’t, for better or for worse, be it small or big, I’m sure you do. But question is, is it better or worse?
Do you help your team move forward or backward?
It’s not that there’s anything wrong with you, but you need to be clear of the value of giving so that you can enjoy your time pursuing your passion.
Do you just hop onto the field like a butterfly and flutter off once the game is over?
Or do you ever stop to treat your teammates kind because they matter?
Some people treat their teammates as though they are there to stop them, as though they are the only ones deserving to be in the team.
Then what’s the joy of being part of the team?
These people are not pursuing the passion in the sport, they are pursuing something else they think they can derive from the sport. They are using the sport to feel useful and wanted.
That’s not you.
You are not like one of those people who seek applause.
You receive applause because you earn it and accept it with grace, but there’s something beyond that you seek.
You seek harmony,
Joy,
Fulfilment and meaning to the sport you play.
And that’s what you want people around you to achieve.
When you’re able to make people around you enjoy the game, that’s when you matter.
