You take a crash, you get back up and next time you succeed and that’s a great feeling. – Shaun White

Today’s show is not like our regular show. We will be witnessing a little change in the format of the show starting from tomorrow. So today I will be laying out upfront on what you will expect to receive tomorrow onward. I thought it’s important for you to know so that you understand what you are learning today, the next day and the 7 days in a week.

Previously, what I did was to just dish out every lesson day by day, some of you aren’t able to expect what will come out of it. So that didn’t work out too well for you. This time, i hope the changes will benefit you in how you take these lessons to bring your game to the next level.

If you’ve taken some time to listen to episode 76 yesterday, I shared with you a very short message on revisiting and re-purposing your life as an athlete because being willing to spend time and effort on your passion is one thing, but being deliberate and committed to your practice and cause needs absolute clarity and certainty on your part.

I believe you need to have grit to be able to strive for what you want, but sometimes the issue isn’t about how much grit or willpower you have. In fact, most of the time, it’s how clear you are on whether the road you have chosen to take is the best possible route to lead you to where you want to arrive at.

For example, if you want to be in this competitive environment, you may know what it takes to thrive, you may know what it takes to score more goals, to win more steals or to cut short your timings. But are you crystal clear that this arduous road is what you are willing to take?

Many athletes are competitive, serious and say they want to improve. But these same athletes only talk, yet when it comes to actual training sessions, they are no where in sight. It’s not that they do not have the grit to push through hardship, it’s not that they don’t want to win. for many of them, it’s because they are not clear enough of their purpose and vision.

You are not one of them, for athletes like you, you are ahead when it comes to the road you take. You are ahead of yourself, you are super clear to start with. Now you just need to figure out that maze in front of you so that you can clear it in the shortest time possible and arrive at your destination.

Why am I saying all these today?

For one, it’s by nature that we are evolving all the time. It’s normal, it’s necessary and it happens. At the same time I want to let you know that I’m also learning to re-purpose and rewire this show made entirely just for you.
