Hi, I’m Marilyn Wo and this is StarPlayer Academy episode 108.

Figure Out What You Want to Achieve and How to Achieve It

It’s easy to always do what you do best and it’s harder to improve from your current standard to the next.

Why?

Ask yourself, what are you trying to achieve?

Are you a novice athlete trying to be an Olympian in a month’s time?

I’m not doubting you, if you want to be an Olympian, so be it, you have the right to be who you want to become.

I’m referring to the timeline.

Becoming an Olympian in a year’s time or in four year’s time is different than being one in a month’s time.

I’m just giving you a scenario.

Maybe you do not wish to be an Olympian, maybe to become the best player you can be, the same thing applies.

When do you intend to become what you want to become?

How do you know you have arrived at your destination?

Have you got the action plan mapped out towards your goal?

Have you list out your diet plan?

Have you figured out how you are going to measure your progress?

How often do you measure your progress?

When you happen to fail one of your little tests along the way, what is your action plan to compensate so that you will pass or be better at your next test?

It’s not easy, but what you need to do is not complicated, you simply need to provide your own answers to these questions and act on them.

Do that right now!
