SPA 040: 15 Questions to Prepare for Peak Performance

Last Wednesday, we ran through questions of self-mastery and how to be the best you can be. Today, you will get more questions to not only ponder but to take action as well to improve your pre-game routines.

Most importantly, have you been writing down your answers to those questions I’ve shared for the past few weeks?

Besides last week’s questions revealed in episode 33, there is also episode 19 on self-discovery and there’s also episode 26 titled Find Out WHY You Lost Your Game and Be Unstoppable.

If you’ve listened to them, that’s awesome, but having answers in your mind only makes you a concept learner. You can have have all the answers right in front of you, but if you don’t apply the fundamentals of learning, these answers will either make you more confused as they get clogged up in your brain or they will slowly fade away. By time, you will start wandering around searching for answers again.

Research has shown that learning is combining mental and physical activities that will be expedited with writing by hand more than by typing on a computer. If you want to immerse yourself into knowing yourself better to becoming a better athlete in your sport, when it comes to knowing yourself, the first step is to write down all your answers to your questions.

Don’t go back to square one. Take a pen and a piece of paper instead of just knowing your answers or typing them out. Writing is not just for school, it’s essential for your sport and life.
